CK-12 Foundation introduces a slew of new products and features to help make this Back-to-School its biggest yet.
New year, new students, heightened excitement but the same jitters. How can you make this school year awesome for your students? Relax, we can help.
With your goal to save time and money while improving student learning, our team has been working hard to iterate and present to you our new and improved CK-12 products for the 2016–2017 school year! Our users have requested product enhancements, newer products and easier ways to help improve learning and teaching. You asked, we listened. We’re excited to bring several new and enhanced products on CK-12 (and via your existing learning management systems) to help you teach and learn at your pace anywhere, anytime, on any device. Here are a few highlights to help you get a head start:
CK-12 Concept Map
Our concept map allow you and your students to have a more informed teaching and learning experience. Teachers can show relationships between concepts, identify causes of misunderstanding by a student, and find relevant content in math and science. Students can stay engaged by exploring relationships between concepts.
Offline Access to CK-12
A new FlexBook® app (for iOS and Android) allows students to carry an entire textbook in their pocket! So, now learning and homework assistance is always at their fingertips — whether waiting in line or on the way to/from school. Now, read a whole book, or just a few chapters, online AND offline!
CK-12 in more places, everywhere where you are!
You wanted CK-12 at your fingertips! Well, we’ve now integrated with more learning management systems (like Canvas, Schoology etc.),student information systems (SIS), Google Classroom, and other providers to give you quicker, easier, and more efficient access to CK-12! We believe learning should happen when and where you want it.
We’ve also significantly enhanced our product offerings for our adaptive practice, study interactive content, and our FlexBooks® digital textbooks! We’re hearing “CK-12 works!” in success stories ranging from small private schools to large public school districts.
